Day of Thanksgiving

Mass shall be sung at 10:30 am on Thursday, November 25. I think it is an appropriate day to give thanks for all the blessings of our Lord during the last Church Year, especially for all the baptisms and confirmations that took place. We also should strive to enter the new Church Year, with thanksgiving, rejoice that we can throughout that year offer our sacrifice of praise to our gracious and merciful Lord Jesus Christ. Indeed this is the highest goal of man and our most free act, one which acknowledges that it is indeed our Lord who works all in all.

Now thank we all our God, with hearts and hands and voices.

For all the things He has done for which His world rejoices.

Who from our mother’s arms has lead us on our way,

with countless gifts of love,

and still is ours today.
