Completion of the Steps and Ramp Project

On Sunday, October 19, the 18th Sunday after Trinity, Redeemer marked the completion of this project. The steps are in, the ramp is in place, and the new railing is up. Even the grass is growing nicely around. Everything looks fantastic.

On Sunday, September 21, we keep the red paraments and vestments as we remember St. Matthew, Evangelist, Apostle, and Martyr. The symbol of St. Matthew’s Gospel is that of an Angel.

On Sunday, September 14, we celebrated the Festival of the Holy Cross. Rejoicing in the symbol of our faith and that on which our Lord purchased our salvation.

Office of Vespers with Installation of the Reverend Roy Axel Coats

On Sunday, August 24, at 4:00 p.m., during the Vespers for the Feast of St. Bartholomew, the Reverend Roy Axel Coats will be installed by the Reverend Doctor Denninger as pastor of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer.

All are invited to attend this service and join in the festive meal that follows.

Listen to the Schola Cantorum (School of Singers) of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer at one of their first practices. This group formed in order to better sing the liturgy and the hymns of the Church. Sorry for the shakiness and the lack of the first stanza.

Vacation Bible School

The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer is teaching kids about Jesus at our Bible School. Monday through Friday, 5:30 to 8:30. Dinner is included. All welcome for free from pre-K to 6th Grade.

Sunday, June 15, we rejoice in the Mystery of the True God, Trinity in Unity and Unity in Trinity! We mark this Sunday with confessing the Athanasian Creed, which states the Orthodox teaching of the Holy Trinity. After the Divine Service we will honor our fathers and give thanks to God for them.

Pentecost Sunday with Confirmation

Pentecost

Sunday, June 8, is Pentecost Sunday. During the Divine Service there will be the Rite of Holy Baptism and the Rite of Confirmation for our confirmands. Come and hear their confession of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and pray that they may remain in that faith until death. There will be a Confirmation Party following the Service.
