A Divine Service shall be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, to rejoice in the truth that the Word became flesh. The Schola Cantorum shall practice after the Service.

Lenten Vespers Series

During the Lenten Vespers we will be meditating on the Canticle appointed for the Office of Vespers, the Song of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Magnificat.

The Schedule is as follows:

February 25 – Vespers – The Humble Magnify God

March 4 – Vespers – God Glorifies the Humble

March 11 – Vespers – God’s Opposite Works

March 18 – Vespers – God’s Promise is Forever

Feast of the Circumcision of our Lord

Day of Thanksgiving

Thursday, November 27, at 10:00 a.m. the Church has a Divine Service for a Day of Thanksgiving. Afterwards many members will be helping out at St. Thomas Evangelical Lutheran Church for their annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner.

Festival of the Reformation

On Sunday, October 26, the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer rejoiced in the pure teaching of the Word of God as it celebrated the Reformation. At the Divine Service we sang the beautiful hymns of the Blessed Martin Luther. During the Bible Study we looked at Luther’s description of how the Gospel was revealed to him in Holy Scripture from his introduction to his collected works. Then many members joined with St. Thomas Evangelical Lutheran Church for their Reformation Dinner. Then we all gathered at Martini Lutheran Church for the Reformation Vespers with the Reverend William Weedon preaching.

Completion of the Steps and Ramp Project

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO SUPPORTED THIS PROJECT!

On Sunday, October 19, the 18th Sunday after Trinity, Redeemer marked the completion of this project. The steps are in, the ramp is in place, and the new railing is up. Even the grass is growing nicely around. Everything looks fantastic.

Festival of St. Matthew

On Sunday, September 21, we keep the red paraments and vestments as we remember St. Matthew, Evangelist, Apostle, and Martyr. The symbol of St. Matthew’s Gospel is that of an Angel.

Holy Cross Day

On Sunday, September 14, we celebrated the Festival of the Holy Cross. Rejoicing in the symbol of our faith and that on which our Lord purchased our salvation.
