For over a hundred years, the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Baltimore, Maryland has been worshiping at the heart of the historic neighborhood of Irvington, between Frederick Road and the Baltimore National Pike (Route 40). At Redeemer you will find a church based on the prophetic and apostolic teachings of the Holy Scripture. The church is centered around the Divine Service, in which our Lord Jesus Christ forgives our sins, speaks to us in His Word, and feeds us with His own Body and Blood in the Sacrament of the Altar. Having received the gifts of our Lord, our church is then active in spreading that good news into all the world.
We welcome you to join us for our Sunday Divine Service, children are especially welcome. Private Confession is offered before the Divine Service on Sundays and Wednesdays or any time by appointment.
